You have a number of options open to you when visiting Disneyland, Orlando, Florida with regards to accommodation. Many people choose to stay in hotels, motels or villas that are situated close to all the attractions that this popular resort has to offer. Whilst others prefer to actually be right where the action is and staying at one of the Disneyland hotels instead.

Many people who have stayed at the Disneyland hotels have found that there are many benefits to be gained from this. Certainly the first of these being that everything is easily accessible and so being able to get to the attractions early, late or whenever you want is not a problem.

A visit to Disneyland in Orlando, Florida is the perfect family holiday and you will find yourself spoilt for things to do. Remember there are four main theme parks that you can visit during your stay plus there are also two water parks as well.

For those of you who are intending to visit Animal Kingdom during your stay in Disneyland then do so as early as possible. If you can rather than wandering around the park first take the first safari that leaves in the morning, this way you will get to see the wildlife that has made this area of Disneyland their home. Unfortunately during the late morning and early afternoon many of the animals seek out the shade so spotting them can prove extremely difficult.

Booking any of the Disneyland accommodation is best done well in advance of your holiday dates to ensure that you get the accommodation that you want. Plus this is even more crucial if you intend to visit the resort right at the height of the summer season.

You should be aware that during the summer Orlando is a place where it does rain and thunderstorms do occur. The problem is that as soon as it rains or a thunderstorm happens all rides are closed down to help protect Disneyland’s customers. So you need to be aware that if you stand for hours in a queue to get on one of the many great rides and it starts to rain you will have to return later when it stops raining.

It is not just the rides at Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood which will be stopped during inclement weather but also those to be found at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. So you need to make arrangements to do other things or see certain shows when the weather does turn a little for the worse during your stay.

When it comes to you getting the most out of your time staying in Disneyland, Orlando it is worth using some of the shortcuts to get on some of the resorts more popular rides. One particular way is to use the fast pass system which allows you to book a time slot for later in the day and you take the ticket provided by the machine at the time indicated on it and go straight through the fast lane to get on the ride rather than having to spend hours queuing for it.
